 EcoWater Systems is proud to announce that its branded softeners and refiners carry
the zerofootprint™ Certificate of Compliance for their carbon neutral manufacturing
cycle.
With every consumer purchase of an EcoWater brand softener or refiner,
EcoWater neutralizes or offsets the carbon emissions of the unit through purchases of
credible carbon offsets.
EcoWater is the first North American residential water treatment company to offer this"Green" Carbon Offset Program. The program was initiated in 2010 in the Canadian
EcoWater dealer markets and began in the U.S. on April 1, 2012.
The zerofootprint™ program thoroughly analyzes the carbon footprint of the EcoWater
softener or refiner through the entire life of the product, including the manufacturing
process, delivery, use and eventual disposal. In the U.S., carbon offset purchases are
made to the Capricorn Ridge Wind Farm project in Texas.
The use of EcoWater products has many environmentally friendly benefits such as less energy
consumption, fewer replacement or repairs of pipes, and less use of detergents and soaps.
Additionally, EcoWater products are designed, engineered and assembled in the United States.
With the addition of the zerofootprint™ Certificate of Compliance, the purchase and use of
EcoWater products completes the loop of ecological awareness and manufacturing responsibility. |
